Found in the coastal town of Encinitas, California, the San Diego Botanic Garden (SDBG) is a 37-acre urban oasis featuring thousands of plant varieties from all over the globe. Trek on their 4-mile trails while enjoying the ocean view. Established in 1970, their extensive garden is known for its large collection of plants, with the most notable being the bamboo forest, the biggest one in North America. While the SDBG is known for its beauty, it is not limited to just that. The garden serves as a hub for conservation, education, and community engagement.  The SDBG is great for locals or tourists looking for an activity in the heart of San Diego.

As we reach the end of the year, festivities run high. Each year, SDBG transforms into a magical wonderland during the holiday season, thanks to Lightscape, a celebrated immersive light display. The event runs from November 15, 2024, to January 5, 2025, offering visitors an unmatched experience, as they witness the light of the winter beauties come before them. The event is part of a global series curated by Sony Music and Culture Creative.
